Your hosts!
We are Fred and Irma. In 2007 we left The Netherlands to start a life with our three young children in Italy. Our fourth was born here. We founded holiday charm resort I Muri and built a successful business.
Fred has many talents and is the driving force behind the external developments at I Muri. He is a real go-getter and has personally renovated the apartments over time. With his creative mind he comes up with the most beautiful ideas and makes our paradise more and more beautiful and complete. In addition, he is a great host, understands his guests and with his great sense of humor he makes every stay a real party.
Irma is the perfect complement to Fred and manages the planning, reception and reservations. She studied tourism and has a lot of experience in organization and planning. She has been organizing business retreats according to an All-inclusive concept for many years and has trained several retreat planners. She organizes and arranges everything down to the last detail and goes the extra mile to make her guests happy and fulfill all of their needs.
Your wedding location!
I Muri is a small-scale holiday charm resort.
We offer enough luxury for a pleasant stay, but are not 'over the top' chic.
This creates an intimate and pleasant atmosphere where all guests quickly feel at home.
The main building is the old cascina with four spacious apartments. All apartments have two bedrooms and can accommodate 5 – 6 people. In addition to the main building you will find a chalet and a mobile home, both with two bedrooms and room for four people.
The large swimming pool with sun terrace and canopy is located in the middle of the green field of the park. Your group is very welcome to spend the warm hours of the day here and enjoy some relaxing time. Next to the pool is a small bar and opposite the pool is another terrace near the pizza oven - the pizza piazza -.
The park is entirely at your exclusive disposal for the wedding. You will have unlimited access to the spacious accommodations with room for 32 people, the swimming pool and all other facilities.
We have several settings for the catering and ceremony.
Pizza Piazza: here we serve breakfast, lunch and the pizza party on Friday.
Bar: here we serve the welcome drink and snack on arrival and the Toast after the ceremony.
Canopy: welcome to the wedding party Saturday evening. Drinks can be ordered at the bar; all dancing and partying is under the canopy.
Ceremony: we set up the chairs for you at our special ceremony space on the corner of the field or we will prepare the charming little church at the top of the street for you.
Cantina: in case of bad weather, we prepare the Cantina for you, an attractive old cellar with vaulted ceiling, a bar and enough space to dance and make unforgettable memories.
